Hi! I’m Michelle Haft: Native Los Angeleno, identical twin, and lover of all things design. I’m a creative with a passion for storytelling through great digital experiences. I enjoy engaging people in unexpected ways, blending both the digital and physical mediums, and relish in making things beautiful down to the pixel. My diverse background includes product design, product management, brand design, marketing communications, experience design and design strategy.

I am currently a Product Design Director at Asurion, a global consumer tech care and protection company, where I help oversee the design and user experience of our customer account experience. Previously I was the VP of Product at Quore, a Nashville-based enterprise software company servicing the global hospitality industry. For more than 14 years I have worked in digital experience design for both in-house teams and agencies, leading multidisciplinary teams servicing clients including Starbucks, IBM, Craftsman, Nike, Gap, Inc., Intercontinental Hotel Group and PS4. Before moving to Nashville, I was Creative Director for social engagement platform Livefyre in San Francisco, CA, where I led a brand redesign that helped facilitate their acquisition by Adobe in 2016. Prior to Livefyre, I worked for transformation company SYPartners, where I helped design the cover of Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz’s,  #1 New York Times bestselling book “Onward," and for Jawbone’s UX team, where I helped launch the first wireless version of the UP lifestyle-tracking wristband. I hold a BA in Linguistics, Cum Laude from University of California, San Diego, and a Master’s Certificate in Media Architecture from Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA.

When I’m not pushing pixels, you’ll find me picking my 5-string banjo and exploring the great outdoors. I play in a band called Family Shipp. I write some thoughts here on Medium. I’m also a founding board member of a nonprofit called The Handsome Ladies, supporting the advancement of women in bluegrass.
